Health
Health of both body and mind will bring harmony to the consciousness.
We are a great filter: information, food, water, toxins, knowledge. You are the result of the people you surround yourself with, the location you decide to plant yourself, the content you consume. Murderers have been exonerated for their crimes on the basis of fluctuations in blood sugar. I think by now you get the point. What you consume is what you become, in every aspect. Be conscious of this.
In terms of physical well being, the summary of every diet is this simple equation: if (Calorie Input) ≤ (Calories Output (Basal Metabolic Rate + Exercise)) = weight maintenance or weight loss
Diet is equally as simple. Eat foods that are their ingredients, "raw foods". Ex: Apple - Apple, Walnuts - Walnuts, Steak - Steak. Although meats should be reserved for occasion, they’re significantly better than processed “junk foods”. If you’re eating only "raw foods" then health is preserved.
Exercise and sun time are highly advised. Like the animals that we are, there is biological significance to the photo reactive cells within our skin. Find activities that feel like play to you, but that appear like exercise to others.
Family
They brought you into this world and, for better or worse, are a large part of who you are. Our environment is important but our genetics may stand to be even more significant. Although this can’t be controlled, and you are who you are, you can allow this knowledge to leverage your current position.
Many close to me neglect to value their parent’s as much as they should, but fundamentally the people in your family, regardless of if they may annoy you at times, are the people that are most you, and with proper relationship, nourishment can provide you the friendship, support, and safety net you may need at times.
There is an article by Tim Urban titled The Tail End that statistically breaks down the remaining expected time that you have to share all the memories, stories, and love with your parents that brought you into this world. For anyone that hasn’t visited, or dropped a call to their family in a recent period of time should go give it a read.
